If you are involved in any way in helping to organize a conference in the US at this time, it is imperative that you offer online attendance and speaker options.

And not just because it's the right thing to do for environmental and accessibility reasons (but you should do it for those reasons, anyway).

The Fash had a problem because the play alluded to Gaza and Trans Rights.

You see how they are erasing us, you see how they cover for a Genocide. Do you see how global it is?

Do you see it?

DUE JULY 5

https://tcg.imiscloud.com/Web/Web/Our-Work/Funds-for-the-Dolls/Funds-for-Dolls-Overview.aspx

Funds for the Dolls is intentionally created by TCG and led by trans women of color (TWOC) leaders in the performing arts who understand the complex issues facing TWOC performing and theatre artists. In this self-funded pilot round with $50,000, TCG aims to support these trailblazers, and uplift their joy, artistry, audacity and tenacity.

We are specifically committed to investing in TWOC performing or theatre artists who are looking to develop their artistry further and have a commitment to their craft. Those who use or have used survival sex work and other forms of hustle are encouraged to apply.

Britain’s Biggest Ever Heli-Lift Rescue - 283 Flown From Fylingdales White Hell. Four RAF Whirlwinds flew again and again through an 80 mph gale, which at times whipped up a 50 foot curtain of snow, to rescue the men and women from the missile-spotting base on the Yorkshire moors.

Sounds interesting.

"For Melbourne’s musical theatre fans, Dear Evan Hansen has been unfinished show business for some time. It won six Tony awards in 2016, and it’s probably the biggest recent Broadway musical success not to have premiered in a commercial run here. This elegant and moving co-production from Michael Cassel and the Sydney Theatre Company will please anyone who’s been dying to see it live."

Took this photo as we walked to the tram stop after seeing the MTC's new musical theatre version of 'My Brilliant Career' last night.

What a great stage show. The actors are also the musicians, so there's a lot of speaking, singing and playing music - all at the same time. Loads of energy and carries the spirit of Miles Franklins' novel while also being very up to date re musical styles and dialogue etc.

Recommended; here's the info: https://www.mtc.com.au/plays-and-tickets/whats-on/season-2024/my-brilliant-career/
