So, you know you're all interested in my takes on the #TV series #Empire ...
The last couple of episodes were telling. You see the writing of Empire is a bit like the Harry Potter books in that it's not what characters do that's bad, it's whose family they''re from that makes it acceptable or not.
So there's this one episode where this group of singers from an old Empire label pop act have a beef with the Lyons for not considering them for their 2020 album.

Continuing my gripe with the #TV series #Empire ...
So Demi Moore is some crazy therapist who was recommended by another therapist.
And when they talk to the thereapist who recommended her, she says, "You know, there was a time when she took her treatment a little too far."
I mean, wouldn't that have come to mind when you were recommending her?
I mean, you *recommended* her, like you thought she excelled in her line of work. Then you say, "Oh wait a minute, she did try to kill someone .."

The thing I really hate about the #TV series #Empire is the whole celebratory one-upmanship of it all.
And by series 4 I'm really starting to hate the show.
Generally, it's been a fun show where literally everyone is bad, but since everyone is bad, it's hard to feel a sense of victory when one character wins over another.
They're virtually all murderers or kidnappers or something and you're supposed to celebrate the Lyons winning.
It's starting to annoy me.
