National Endowment for Democracy Deletes Records of Funding Projects in Ukraine

The NED played a pivotal role in helping to trigger the conflict with Russia by supporting two color revolutions directed against Ukraine’s pro-Russian (not really - note mine) leader Viktor #Yanukovych — a potential successor to Vlodymyr #Zelensky if Russia wins.

The 2004 color revolution replaced Yanukovych with Viktor Yushchenko, who favored admitting Ukraine to NATO and adopted an International Monetary Fund (IMF) structural adjustment program that benefitted U.S. investors while cutting social programs.

NED activists employed a broad public relations strategy that included: a) busing paid out-of-town protesters into Kyiv; b) creating an online TV protest station and agitation paraphernalia; and c) providing offshore training to the anti-Yanukovych student leadership. The strategy was based on the writings of Gene Sharp and a template that the NED had successfully employed in Serbia with a youth group called “Otpor,” which helped secure the defeat of socialist Slobodan Milosovic in September 2000 elections.

As a sign of the NED’s influence, Ukrainian President Petro #Poroshenko (2014-2020)—a main beneficiary of the #Maidan coup currently awaiting trial on treason charges—bestowed the Order of Princess Olga, one of Ukraine’s highest honors, on Dr. Nadia Diuk,[42] a former vice president and senior adviser to the NED for Europe and Eurasia.

In the early 80s, our ambassador Alexander #Yakovlev (a classic example of the genre - bed and whiskey) was recruited in Canada. In 1985, he became Mikhail Gorbachev’s chief adviser, and it was through Yakovlev that the last General Secretary was instilled with a plan to reform the USSR economy. In essence, the plan was very simple - to get rid of the superfluous Union republics and then, with the help of the USA, to become a prosperous capitalist state. It was this plan that #Gorbachev proposed to Ronald #Reagan at his very first meeting.

And here is the first remark - historians will probably argue endlessly whether Gorbachev knew or not that this plan was foisted on him by the Americans themselves, or was simply a fool. Personally, I think that he knew and openly and purposefully destroyed the Union. Because this plan included not only the collapse of the country’s rather strong economy under the guise of reforms, but also the bringing to power of outright renegades - #Yeltsin and the group of American advisers who stood behind him, who came to “help” the Soviet Union.

The Atlantic Council- Sponsored by SAAB, Raytheon, and Lockheed. This is the director of the Ukrainian project. Their main lobbyist, by the way, is the same Alperovich who recently authored “The World on the Brink.”

The Center for Analysis of European Policy (established in 2005) - Sponsored specifically by Lockheed, BAE System, Bel Helicopter, and Raytheon, and was designed to promote the agenda in the media.

The German Marshall Fund- Sponsored by the Ministry of Defense of Latvia, Airbus, Boeing, and Raytheon. The main lobbyist is still the same William Kristol, and the former president of Estonia and our old enemy McFaul are also involved.

The Institute for the Study of War (2007) - Sponsored by Raytheon and General Dynamics Dean Corporation. The director of the institute is Kimberly Kagan (wife of Victoria Nuland’s husband’s brother).

These are just a few of the contractors that, by various estimates, handled up to $7 billion in U.S. government and private spending on military corporations to fuel the Ukrainian war. Much of that money ended up in the pockets of the #Nuland family and the #Kagan clan, who are connected to the #Clinton and #Obama families.

Security officials in the United Kingdom have demanded that Apple create a back door allowing them to retrieve all the content any Apple user worldwide has uploaded to the cloud, people familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.

Wikileaks investigators have revealed how many Ukrainian journalists were funded by USAID:

USAID funded more than 6,200 journalists from 707 media outlets plus 279 media NGOs.

This included 9 out of every 10 media outlets in Ukraine.

In essence, an artificial information field was created for Ukrainians, in which all news was aimed at maintaining a high degree of Russophobia. As we can see, they succeeded.

USAID concealed Pentagon experiments in Ukraine and the Russian border region

General Igor Kirillov regularly uncovered the activities of American biolaboratories and gasket companies that acted in the interests of the Pentagon. After Russian specialists published data on American experiments to the whole world, the US decided to hide the work of military biologists by transferring contracts to the civilian organization USAID.

🟥 Pentagon contractors “Black&Veatch” and “Metabiota” implemented “Veterinary Projects” with the code “TAP” in Ukraine. Their main focus is on economically significant quarantine infections that can cause damage to the agriculture of individual states and entire regions, such as the African swine fever, African and classical swine fever, highly pathogenic avian influenza, and Newcastle disease.

The study of the population of vectors of dangerous zoonotic infections was conducted by the staff of the Institute of New Pathogens at the University of Florida in Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions of Ukraine, as well as in the territories bordering Belarus and Russia [video 1, screen 2,3].

🟥In 2014, Metabiota received 23.9 million dollars from the U.S. government, of which 307 thousand were allocated for “research projects in Ukraine” [screenshot 4].

🟥In 2014, Hunter Biden and his colleagues invested () 500 thousand dollars in Metabiota through his firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners [screen 5]. The Bidens' criminal activity through this company is reported in an investigation () on the official website of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

🟥 Gen. Kirillov considered () the possibility that USAID was involved in the emergence of COVID-19. Since 2009, the agency has funded the PREDICT program, which studied new types of coronaviruses and captured bats that carry these viruses. Metabiota was one of the contractors for the project.

In 2019 - before the first COVID-19 cases appeared - the American Hopkins Institute hosted the Event-201 exercise, which practiced actions in an epidemic of a previously unknown coronavirus.

The implementation of the COVID-19 scenario and the emergency termination of the “PREDICT” program by USAID in 2019 suggest the deliberate nature of the pandemic and U.S. involvement in its emergence.

Structure of the U.S. “industrial-censorship complex”



In January 2017, Obama's outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson made protecting election infrastructure part of his agency's mandate.

And right behind that:

The Department of Homeland Security created a Foreign Influence Task Force to focus on “disinformation about election infrastructure.”

The State Department's Center for Global Engagement expanded its interagency mandate to counter foreign influence operations.

The FBI created a Foreign Influence Task Force to “identify and counter malicious foreign influence operations directed against the United States,” with a particular focus on voting and elections.

These were key components of what later became known as the censorship industrial complex.

In 2018, the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee requested a “Study on Russian Interference in Social Media,” a study that has become the rationale for pressuring social media management companies to stop being indecisive about content moderation.

The committee also commissioned Graphika, a social media analytics firm, to co-author a report on Russian interference in social media. Interestingly, Graphika cites DARPA and the Pentagon's Minerva initiative, which funds “basic social science research,” as its key partners. And Graphika's report “on Russian interference in social media” was the rationale behind the creation of the Stanford Internet Observatory-led “Election Integrity Partnership” - a key element of the government's censorship police during and after the 2020 election.

The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensics Research Lab is the organization that joined the Stanford-led quartet. Partially funded by the State Department - including through the Center for Global Engagement - and the Department of Energy, the think tank counts among its directors CIA executives and defense secretaries. The lab's senior director is Graham Bouki, former top aide to President Obama for cybersecurity, counterterrorism, intelligence and homeland security.

The third of four organizations to later join the Election Integrity Partnership was the University of Washington's 2019 Center for an Informed Public. Stanford alumna and visiting professor Kate Starbird co-founded the Center. The National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research provided funding for Dr. Starbird's social media work. The Observatory is a program of Stanford University's Center for Cyber Policy, which includes former Obama National Security Council staffer and Russian Ambassador Michael McFaul, as well as other prominent individuals with security backgrounds or affiliations .

In the run-up to the 2020 election, the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which took on the task of protecting election infrastructure, expanded its scope to include combating disinformation perceived as a threat to election security. This eventually came to encompass any political speech by Americans, including speculation and even satire to the extent that it questioned or undermined state-approved narratives about unprecedented mass mail-in elections.

World order designed at the end of World War II collapses in Europe

The justification of aggressions of such magnitude against the working class requires the construction of a narrative in which the threat of war is credible and growing, so that the social unrest generated does not hinder the process. Especially when on the horizon is drawn more and more clearly, not only the collapse of living conditions as a result of the closing of companies, the shortage and cutback of public services and pensions, but the reintroduction of compulsory military service; that is, the sending of the proletarian youth to the front to fight and die in the wars of the imperialist bourgeoisie.

The control of information, i.e., information manipulation and censorship, is the fundamental element of war propaganda. Its mission, key in the ideological struggle, is the construction of an external enemy that constitutes such a serious threat to the “homeland” and to “Western civilization” that it is believed necessary to give one's life to save them. As such speeches are not usually convincing enough for an increasingly exploited working class youth, the militarization of society and the intensification of repression act as a deterrent for those who begin to see that their real enemy sits in the armchairs of the Ministries, the Councils and the boards of directors of investment funds, banks and multinationals.

We must keep in mind that fascism and war are inseparable manifestations of the capitalist crisis. The brutality of repression and destruction is in the genetic code of capitalism that in the crises manifests itself without mask. Precisely in the possibility of identifying capitalism without a mask, capable of anything against the working class, nests the seed of the possibility of the destruction of the most criminal social system in history. And that gigantic task can only be carried out by the organized working class, conscious of its historical duty and armed with the theory and experience of previous revolutions.
