Zionist Occupation Forces Withdraw From Netzarim Corridor

The Zionist occupation military has completed its withdrawal from Gaza’s Netzarim Corridor – a requirement under phase one of the ceasefire deal between the entity and Hamas agreed last month.

“Zionist forces have dismantled their positions and military posts and completely withdrawn their tanks from the Netzarim Corridor on Salaheddin Road, allowing vehicles to pass freely in both directions,” a Hamas official said on Sunday, referring to Salah al-Din Street.

The so-called Netzarim Corridor refers to a strip of land that cut off northern Gaza from the rest of the Strip. According to the ceasefire agreement, the deadline for withdrawal was February 9.

The full withdrawal of troops from the corridor took place a day after Hamas and the regime conducted their fifth captive-prisoner swap, which saw the Palestinian group release three Zionist captives in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners held in occupation jails.

In a statement, Hamas said the regime’s complete withdrawal from the corridor signals a “continuation of the failure of the goals of the war of extermination against the Palestinian people”.

It said the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes and the continuation of the exchange of captives and prisoners refute Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “lie” about achieving victory in the 15-month war on the enclave.

“Gaza will remain a land liberated by the hands of its people and its fighters, and forbidden to the occupying invaders and any external force,” it said.

The regimecreated the corridor at the beginning of its war on Gaza. It is a closed-off military zone that stretches from settlements boundary with Gaza to the Mediterranean Sea and is about 6km (3.7 miles) wide.

More than half a million Palestinians were obliged by the Zionist occupation forces to depart norther Gaza in the first month of the war under the pretext of having safer areas in southern Gaza; however, the Zionist massacres chased them across the Strip.

Protest against Trump and Musk exceeds all expectations in Orlando

On the 8th of February, far more protesters than expected turned out for a protest against Trump, Musk, and Fascism than organizers had planned. Well over 100 people, possibly twice that or more over the course of the afternoon showed up for the rally on Alafya Trail near a busy shopping mall and equally busy highway. Orlando cops threatened arrest for more than 100 people without a permit, but backed down after a stern lecture from FL State rep Anna Eskamini about constitutional rights.

Some of the organizers retreated before this threat was rebuffed, warning some vulnerable folks to get out in case OPD launched their 3ed attack in less than a year. Mass arrests would have been impossible without hundreds or even thousands of cops due to the open terrain and number of people. More people kept coming though, so those who left were quickly replaced. Eventually the crowd split into two units to ensure cops didn't decide they had an excuse for a repeat.

Experienced organizers often scoff at threats related to permits, but nobody knows what the law is or if there IS any law with Trump in office. Thus the organizers acted with caution in dangerous times.

Once again though, protesters have opposed Trump in the open and gotten away with it. Trump's threats of martial law and ordering National Guard troops to fire on protesters have not been delivered on. Activists in Chicago and Aurora served up stinging defeats to ICE, and the big LA ICE protests seem to be going down mostly unopposed.

Protesters and organizers have seized the initiative from Trump, and anyone familiar with warfare knows what that means. We have the ball, now is the time to PUSH with everything we've got, doing more of what is working.

My guess is that those behind Trump cannot afford to lose their fortunes to the economic devastation a hot civil war would bring. Presumably they also know shooting at protesters in the now very tense and heavily armed United States would almost guarantee such a civil war and wreck their economic position. So far, Trump has been forced to eat his words and blustering threats about martial law.

I was at a protest of one today in #PortlandMaine (not the first time). Unfortunately, I wasn't there on #January20 because I was getting over being sick, but there was a great turnout that day.

And it seems #AugustaMaine had a decent turnout today as well, so that's good.

But even though I was there by myself, most folks who saw me were supportive, a few thanked me, and only one #MAGA-type said that my protest was "Bullshit!" To which I replied, "You'll find out soon enough."

I don't mind being a protest of one, but next time, I plan on bringing some pepper spray just in case, and some cash for unhoused folks - who were way more supportive than some of the well-off passerbys.

Two Zionists Soldiers Killed, Several Injured in Shooting Near Tubas

Two Zionistsoldiers were killed and six others were wounded on Tuesday morning in a shooting operation near the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Occupation military radio had confirmed that eight soldiers were injured in total, with two sustaining fatal wounds. The wounded were airlifted to hospital by a military helicopter.

Escalation in the occupied West Bank

Zionist media reported that the shooting took place near a village where the occupation army is operating as part of its aggression on the northern West Bank.

Zionist media added that the Tayasir area witnessed an armed confrontation between a Palestinian man and Zionist soldiers, which led to fatalities and injuries among the Israeli forces.

Later, it was confirmed that the Palestinian who carried out the operation was martyred.

In detail, the shooter had reached the military checkpoint near Tayasir, barricaded himself inside a watchtower, opened fire on the soldiers, and engaged in confrontations with them, according to occupation media.

Following the operation, the military completely closed the Tayasir checkpoint, southeast of Jenin, and is conducting searches in its vicinity while recalling reinforcements to the area.

The occupation army has launched a brutal aggression on the West Bank in the past two weeks, resorting to military methods it had rarely used in the past in the area.

Recently, the military deployed Eitan AFVs, which the Nahal Brigade usually uses in combat, in the Tubas and Jenin areas, for the first time since “Operation Defensive Shield” in 2002.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 70 Palestinians have been martyred in the West Bank governorates since the beginning of this year, most of whom were from the Jenin governorate.

In a statement, the ministry specified that the death toll included 10 children, a woman, and two elderly individuals.

Born in Gaza in 1965, Deif studied science at the Islamic University of Gaza. During his time there, he was active in religious, student, and humanitarian work—along with a passion for theater. In 1989, the occupation forces arrested him, detaining him without trial for 16 months on charges of working with Hamas’ military wing.

His release coincided with the rise of the Qassam Brigades, which had begun executing operations deep within the zionist entity. Deif moved to the West Bank alongside several Qassam leaders from Gaza, overseeing the formation of a West Bank branch. He rose to prominence after the assassination of Imad Aqel in 1993, and oversaw several successful operations against the occupation, including the capture of zionist soldier Nachshon Wachsman in 1994.


In the year 2000, he was arrested once again by the Palestinian Authority but managed to escape detention following the outbreak of the Second Intifada. This marked a significant turning point in the development of Hamas’ military capabilities.

Mohammed Deif was appointed as the commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades in 2002. Upon taking leadership, he established a military training and development academy, later revealed after the occupation’s withdrawal from Gaza in 2005.

Deif is credited with numerous strategic successes for Al-Qassam, most notably in the field of missile development. Under his command, the Qassam Brigades transformed their arsenal—from primitive rockets with a few kilometers’ range to missiles capable of reaching every occupied Palestinian city, from the far south to the north.

Mohammed Deif rarely appeared on media, the last being on the morning of October 7, 2023, when he announced Al-Aqsa Flood. He survived seven assassination attempts by the occupation, in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2014, and twice in 2021. He suffered burns, lost an eye, and, according to occupation claims, lost a leg and sustained arm injuries in another.

In 2014, another attempt on his life killed his wife, Widad Mustafa Harb Deif, and children including a his three-year-old daughter and his seven-month-old son, Ali. Yet, Deif remained committed to resistance.



Despite never revealing his face to the public, Deif became one of the most beloved and respected figures in the resistance. People from different countries and backgrounds pledged allegiance to him, for what he represented.

“Put the sword before the sword—we are the people of Mohammed Deif!”

He was nicknamed “the guest” because for decades, he slept in a different house every night, avoiding detection and assassination. The occupation threatened to kill him. The people answered: “Our homes are yours.”

Mohammed Deif was the resistance as it is: from the people, for the people.

Glory to Mohammed Deif, the shadow of the resistance who remains for as long as its light keeps shining.

Abu Khaled, the guest, master of every home and every heart.
