“Democracy or capitalism? Pick one.

If, like me, you grew up in the 80s, you probably unthinkingly accepted the neoliberal maxim that democracy and capitalism go hand-in-hand. This is one of the greatest lies ever told. Democracy and capitalism are polar opposites.

You cannot have a functional democracy and billionaires and trillion-dollar corporate interests and Silicon Valley’s Big Tech misinformation and exploitation machinery. What we’re seeing is the clash of capitalism and democracy and capitalism is winning.

Are we past a tipping point? I don’t know. Perhaps. But we can’t think like that.

Personally, I’m going to keep working to effect change where I feel I can be effective: in creating alternative technological infrastructure to support individual freedoms and democracy.

We’ve already laid the infrastructure of techno-fascism. We’ve already created (and are creating) the panopticons. All the fascists need to do is move in and take the controls. And they will do so democratically, before destroying democracy, just as Hitler did.

And if you think the 1930s and 40s were something, remember that the most advanced tools to amplify the destructive ideologies of the time were less powerful than the computers you have in your pockets today. Today we have machine learning and are on the brink of unlocking quantum computing.

We must ensure the 2030s are not like the 1930s. Because our advanced centralised systems of data capture, classification, and prediction plus a hundred years of exponential increase in processing power (note: I do not use the word “progress”) mean the 2030s will be exponentially worse.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, we have a common enemy: the nationalist international. The problems of our time transcend national borders. The solutions must also. The systems we build must be both local and global at once. The network we must build is one of solidarity.

We created the present. We will create the future. Let’s work together to ensure that that future is the one we want to live in ourselves.”

On Anarchy & gun control

Anarchy requires complete inversion of all existing power systems that we have now, as we seek the power in the hands of peasants, not masters (no matter what title master uses to control peasants).

That means, what we seek is a revolution, not reform. Forcing power back into the hands of peasants, creating & living in systems in which no peasant/group of peasants can declare themselves to be new bosses (no matter what title new bosses give themselves).

Reforms are nothing but putting lipstick on a pig.

A revolution cannot be an infinite series of reforms, because reforms by their very nature leave existing parasites that control all power centers time to group, scheme & reverse whatever the tiny bullshit progress thats been made before.

So, the path thru "reforms"/so called "progress" is a dead-end for Anarchism.

Revolution is not feasible without deploying all tactics i.e deploying both violent & non-violent tactics, as existing parasites that control State & all the tools of violence will not sit idly by & allow you to strip them of the ill-gotten wealth they accumulated using the machine of thievery i.e State (whether it calls itself so called "Democratic"/"Capitalist" State or so called "Communist" State, or some other shit).

So, if only state has the weapons, it makes the lives of peasants who want to overthrow State, Capitalism, Fascism & other forms of domination, much, much, harder. You cant fight a tank with a stone. So, the concept of guncontrol is not in our interest as its showstopper to go where we want to go.

In conclusion:

We seek revolution. Revolution has a possibility of success only when peasants are armed & these arms are not concentrated in few hands (or gatekept by State).

PS: Your path to reach Anarchy might be different from what I laid out here, but this is my version of it. And if you have objection, please feel free to object. I will see if I missed anything in my analysis.

When a Capitalist parasite like him says "he is working for free", its akin to saying: Fox is doing "free" survey of the hen's house.

One of the most common tactic of Capitalist grifters when they says "they are working for free", they mean they are finding more effective ways to fill their pockets lot more, rather than thru small time grifter means of "fee".

Since their thefts are large, its done via "we are offering our services for free" route.

This is the same dogshit I see in the PR of one of the world's biggest parasite from our shithole. That parasites PR is: He takes 0 salary (to fraudulently imply he is such a generous man & lot of ignorant — incl me back then — fall for it). What they are not told is the stocks they hold & all other perks not channeled thru so called "salary" route.

The deception of these liars is one of a kind. These liars are not still yet our levels, but they will reach there, slowly.

...well, for me, the situation there is quite unclear - but I guess I see it like this: the fact that some people from "one side of the conflict" would organize terrorist attacks is not, in my opinion, mutually exclusive with the fact that some people from "the other side of the conflict" would organize the murder of civilians as part of a targeted territorial expansion.
After all, even the term terrorism is such a great label - see the saying that:
"Terrorism is the war of the powerless and war is the terrorism of the powerful".
Finaly, I prefer to leave it to people who follow the situation in more detail to argue to the point of blood about who is shedding the blood of the other side more unjustifiably in that area - ideally, of course, people would reject their superior warmongers on both sides.

The major way for most people to fight back against capitalism and other oppressions is BY JOINING TOGETHER WITH OTHERS in intentional communities and co-ops. There is strength and support in numbers but they will only ever happen if people act for themselves.

Sitting on your ass alone is how most people will just fade away and die. That's the reality. You gotta find friends and allies and join up with them. A little work could go a long way.

Tankies & Campists (TCs) were fully in on the Assad dictatorship till he ran away.

While many of us saw him as evil, who was only doing whatever little he needed to do to save his rotten regime — and support those who saved his criminal regime, TCs on the otherhand were fully pushing propaganda for him.

Even if Empire–Entity–West–Turkey imperial combine harms Syrian society more, whether it gets worse for Syrians or not (no one knows either ways — likely a puppet for Western Imperialism/Entity–Empire–Turkey combine would likely make it worse), TCs can't be right as they had no way of knowing anyways. They were simply shilling for their favorite camp & telling everyone criticism of Assad is nothing but being in the enemy camp, till he fell.

In Syria, we now have one authoritarian regime replaced by an Imperial propped-up reactionary mercenary force — former Al-Qaeda (not sure about the overall composition), all being normalized by imperial propaganda mouthpieces as of now i.e CNN, BBC, … on the instruction of Western political bosses. TCs are simply stuck in power equations from Imperial point of view (or rank opportunism or both), always looking at the world from the point of view of power centers, rather than looking at the situation from those at the bottom, from each society's point of view in isolation & building the network from there, then viewing the equation from power centres point of view. Thier politics of Top–Down only allows them to do only power center view (in the bestcase) rather than starting from Bottom-Up view & then looking at all variables.

In a world controlled by those in power, massive power centres, when its as bloody as civil war, I am not sure the choices will ever be anything but series of compromises — at best compromising with lesser evil (from one's limited context rather than broader context — both Rojava & Hezbollah made same deals with the devil for their own survival). Incase of Rojava (so far as my limited understanding goes), for protecting their revolution, where as in case of Hezbollah (so far as my limited understanding goes) did it for protecting the only source that were willing to help them against Zionist occupation (did lot of awful shit on Assad's behalf against Syrians for getting that support).

In any case, tankies & campists (TCs) propped up Assad as the saviour despite a bloody slaughter of Syrians he oversaw for more than a decade with sectarian help. They are singing a different tune now. They might change the tune later if some other variable changes with: See, I told you sort of unprincipled positions, when no one has anyway of knowing what Genocidal Imperialism does. Will Western Imperialism convert Syria into another Libya? Who knows?

Only thing we know for sure is this:

They never cared about anything but Genocidal Imperial interests.
