Ach ja, bei META ist doch noch etwas von wegen Datenschutz oder eher Abwesenheit desselben.
Weiterhin ist Signal US-basiert und nutzt in der Voreinstellung #google für #metadaten. Beides aus meiner Sicht klare Minuspunkte.
In the future I might add a poweruser editor for new push rules. Aiming to support as many features of matrix push rules as possible.
Der Matrix-Client Element ist das dritte Testobjekt in dieser Serie. Am Ende druckse ich nicht herum, sondern gebe eine klare Empfehlung ab.

Mittlerweile haben aus meinem Bekannten und Freundeskreis ca. 80% den Weg zu Signal gefunden. Zu Threema ca. 10%(Ich glaube, dass hier der Kaufpreis das Hauptproblem ist). Nur ca. 2% nutzen Matrix. Der Rest weigert sich einen anderen Messenger als WhatsApp zu installieren. Und falls notwendig wird telefoniert oder eine SMS geschrieben.
dank der app "Element X" und wenn man es benutzt wie die anderen Messenger auch. also account erstellen auf matrix.org (default). Dann ist das ganze flott, einfach und kann empfohlen werden.

Ohne SIM und Googledienste hab ich das mit Satelite + eSIM hinbenommen. Zwar kann ich das ohne Googledienste keine SMS bekommen, aber Signalbot Quatsch den Einmalcode auf den AB. Zumindest geht das mit Molly.
Vor dem Hintergrund von Digitalzwang + Smartphonezwang + Mobiltelefonnummerzwang + Googledienstezwang bleibt alleinig #Matrix über. Desktopcomputerzwang liegt bei keinem Messenger vor.
Mit Smartphonezwang schafft man immerhin Threema, Signal, SimpleX.
Ist zwar ein Nerdi Detail, aber vielleicht sollte das in die Messengermatrix mit rein.
Kurzum: Wer arm und mittellos ist und kein Geld für Monatsabo und Prepaid könnte mit Matrix gesellschaftlich am Leben teilhaben.
