Eight members of a German Nazi group calling itself “Saxon Separatists”have been arrested for plotting to violently seize territory and establish a new, “ethnically cleansed” Nazi state. Seven others are also under investigation; the group is said to have 15-20 members total.

The group, which reportedly organized paramilitary trainings, believes that Germany’s collapse is imminent. They expect that to happen on an undetermined “Day X” (German fascist paramilitaries seem to really love that term), which was going to be their moment to take over.

One of the arrestees was an AfD pol who has been working as the treasurer of the AfD youth org since last month.

I saw people on Mastodon today saying essentially this or that won't happen if Trump gets into the White House again because this or that is too outlandish or extreme, that could never happen. Let's not forget that our worst intelligence failures have been failures of imagination. And let's not forget that in a matter of a few months Germany fell completely to a dictator. Whatever you can imagine Trump might be able to do with the levers of power, and how quickly, perhaps you haven't imagined enough.

I confirm, everything the professor says is absolutely true, here in Ukraine, after the #Maidan 2014 government coup, the order and dictatorship of the oligarchs became like in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Only he does not mention President bloody confectioner #Poroshenko, who is responsible for shelling the inhabitants of eastern Ukraine (Donbass) from 2014 to 2019. It was because of Poroshenko bloodthirsty Russophobia that Zelensky won over 70% of the vote in the presidential election.

Ukraine can’t defeat Russia no matter how many American military advisers train Ukrainian troops or how many millions the good and totally not corrupt people at Raytheon Inc make selling their Javelins. The point isn’t for Ukraine to win the war. The point is to make Russia bleed — economically and militarily. And it doesn’t matter how many people die or suffer or how much of Ukraine and its economy is laid to waste in the process.

As I’ve written in bits and pieces before on here before, America’s foreign policy establishment — its diplomats, spies, and politicians — have seen Ukraine as a key field of battle against the Soviet Union going back to late 1940s. For decades, Ukraine and its diaspora were considered prime weapons for destabilizing the Soviet Union. It’s why America, Canada, the UK, and other western countries opened their doors to Ukrainian fascists and Nazi collaborators after World War II. Their hardcore ideology and their willingness to die for their lost nationalist cause were seen as important qualities in the fight against communism. Some of the earliest covert armed CIA operations against the Soviet Union involved parachuting Ukrainian Nazi collabo guerrillas behind Soviet lines to sabotage and whip up rebellion among Ukrainian peasants.

I've been tracking the 'activation' of these behaviours by UK and USA governments for >10 years. Over 50% have been seen in the last 5.

Although not assessed numerically, I can also see it increasing in at least 3 other leading fossil-fuel-extracting states, and in one seemingly fighting to access a new fossil fuel resource.

It appears that those who are financially dependent on #FossilFuel extraction think they can safely promote and rely on #fascism in puppet governments.

I think the intell community knew far more about Putin post 1989 than was officially taken on board by Western govts: his KGB ruthlessness and his desire to build an empire of his own.

When you think of Western democracies it's the big oligarchs/corps who create the arena for the politicians to work within. Their money pays. Tail wags the dog.

In Russia Putin is the tail AND the dog. *Nobody controls him.* He controls the oligarchs and will readily dispose of them if they don't comply.

I think the West completely misjudged and underestimated Putin. They naively thought he'd join in the democracy party and become a friend. He was playing the West from the v start. Built his money and empire and now pulls the strings in Hungary Belarus Turkey Poland MEast SthAmerica Africa and in all the elections in the West.

The thing about nationalist fascist right wing dictators tho, is once they have finished hating on everyone they inevitably turn in on themselves. Putin v Trump v Xi v Modi v Kim v Orban ... who'll be the one to win? Or push the button on the others?
