Continuing my test of my new ultrawide angle lense during #sunset in #Dresden.
The picture is taken with a wide angle lense being held very close to one of the rails of the city tram line. The sun is setting and lighting up the street going in between two house blocks starting close to the camera. Enormous dark clouds rise from the horizon in the distance in a tornado shaped funnel just above the red hot sun, about to cross below the horizon over a vast, dark river. Each side of the dark funnel cloud formation is brightly illuminated in golden shades from the sun's intensity, which reflects onto the water's surface below. The red hit sun also casts a red, laser like beam of light across the water's surface as well. Since I started as a photographer, I have always loved silhouettes, the low light of the evening or morning. I love these atmospheres. During a recent trip to Finland, I had the immense privilege of meeting this mother bear just before nightfall. For me, it was such an unforgettable moment.
