Hi! I'm going to use this account for tech-related rambling from now on so that I don't clog up my main account (@eblu@wetdry.world), and the instance that I'm on, with that kind of thing. The fediverse needs more variety and if I just use my main account for techposting then I'm still part of the problem. :P

Over here you'll find me rambling about the stuff that I use as well as the two main decentralized social networking protocols and what's being built on them. Perhaps you might see some hot takes here. I might even propose a thing or two, I'm actually sitting on something right now! Just don't expect too much code, I find myself more comfortable in the realm of design, at least until I get a better grip on how web dev works.

Here's a ceramic hedgehog, fierce defender of whatever you store inside its belly. I'm new to this community and I'm a bit like this hedgehog. Since certain social media platforms are showing their true colors, I'm backing off and trying to find a safe place to settle, to share creative stuff, knowledge and fun without generating profit for scary billionaires. I am a 58-yo woman from Sweden. Photography has been my hobby/passion since 2010 and my pictures are straight out of the camera (unless otherwise stated).
I try to convey my feelings, thoughts, experiences and my inner life via my motifs. The images are often abstract or suggestive and are usually about something other than the obvious, regardless of the motive. BTW, I am a hugh metal fan 🤘

Long overdue new #Introduction (so that I can pin it on my profile!😅)

I'm a landscape & nature photographer in San Diego, California — an incredibly diverse place! I make most of my photos locally. I like grand scenics & nature's small scenes, and am also keen on finding and photographing our native plants.

I've been on Mastodon for over 2 years at this point, and am done with corporate-controlled, centralized social media. The future is federated! Cheers! :)
