Went with a calming floral pattern for today's #inkyDays drawing. This time, it's in one of my new inks.

Hand drawn generative/procedural art in ink on an open page of my sketchbook. The abstract pattern is floral.

My brain needed a break today, and it's been grey and overcast all day. So went with a cheery floral for today's drawing. A little sunshine on the page of my sketchbook.

Here's an in-progress shot, with my glass dipping pen.

As usual, the finished drawing (and more) is now posted for my sup porters on Patreon:

After the stress of yesterday, and my continued efforts to get things back to normal again, I wanted to return to a comforting pattern for today's #inkyDays drawing.

Here's an in-progress shot. I've posted the finished drawing on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/113168313

Every chewed leaf is proof that our gardens are part of a living web.

Yet beneficial insects that naturally prey on aphids, mites, etc. can help keep pest populations in check. Flowering plants such as yarrow, dill, and fennel, create an inviting habitat for garden allies like ladybugs, lacewings and hoverflies.

A biodiverse garden isn’t just good for pest control; it also supports pollination and soil health. Native plants support a diversity of beneficial insects.

They also provide food and habitat for local wildlife, birds, and pollinators, encouraging a garden that’s healthier, more resilient, and truly in harmony with nature.

I don't have anything folkloric to say about today's #MinCup23 match, but they are both featured in the Telluric Tarot by Lunaria Gold (my favorite deck ever).

Crocoite is 7 of Wands, dioptase is Page of Cups.
